I always wondered why my ads never resulted in any phone calls. I thought the more money I spent equalled more calls from prospects.  My ad spending increased, but the number of calls I received didn’t.

When looking online, the advice suggested I needed to improve my headline & copywriting. I changed both.

 But NO ONE called.

 I even split-tested the ad targeting and the image. The viewing numbers were high…

Yet, still, NO ONE called.

Of course, no one had called. Why would they?

All I had left was a single phone number at the bottom of the ad, and I expected that to be enough.

I needed to rethink my whole approach to having prospects contact me.

The good news was that there was a more optimal way for prospects to contact me…

The bad news is that the answer didn’t appear to me overnight. It required me to test hundreds of options & study thousands of ads. Until I FINALLY worked it out.

Instead of making prospects call me, I added a response mechanism. A call to action in every ad that asks the prospect to fill out a lead generation form.

Using response mechanisms transformed my results. The leads began rolling in fast, and my cost per new client dropped.
