Immediately, the well-known local plumber comes to mind, and you give him a desperate call.
Now the plumber comes and fixes your pipes and lands you with a hefty bill…
And he got that work because he was a local authority, who was the ‘go-to guy’.
So, how can we apply this to our marketing to have people think of our product or service?
The answer is a CTA.
Otherwise known as a call-to-action.

A call to action is the best and most effective way for your business to become seen as a ‘local authority’, the ‘go-to’ when it comes to your niche and puts you at the forefront of people’s minds.
Let’s say you run a service business. In this instance, we will use a Law Firm.
The big question is: How do you get the word out locally about your business?
Well, some of the options are…
Use paid traffic such as ads,
post multiple Tik-Toks or Instagram Reels,
put posters up in the town centre,
or even knock on doors and hand out flyers.

Instead of putting our message out by itself… We have given them a reason to respond and mark their interest.
We’ve ignited the humans’ instinctive preference to be told what to do and have their hand held through the process.
